A smash hit for Punchdrunk and Porsche
Porsche Cars Great Britain – Performing arts: Porsche goes immersive with globally renowned theatre pioneers Punchdrunk, and gives you the chance to join them for an unforgettable experience.
This is the first time that Porsche has supported a major performing arts production in the UK
Immersive theatre company Punchdrunk is back in London for the first time in eight years to present its new highly acclaimed production, The Burnt City.
The show, which opened in March, is inspired by the fall of Troy, and takes audiences on a theatrical adventure through a dystopian landscape, housed within two Grade II listed buildings in the heart of Woolwich’s Royal Arsenal.
Porsche Cars GB is the headline partner of the show, and it’s the first time the marque has supported a major performing arts production in the UK. Not only has the collaboration helped bring the ambitions of the show’s visionary directors, Felix Barrett and Maxine Doyle, to life, but Punchdrunk and Porsche have also developed authentically integrated brand touchpoints to add richness to the performance – including a mechanic’s garage as part of the showscape.
The Punchdrunk X Porsche Experience is the ultimate ticket to The Burnt City, with guests chauffeured to the show in an all-electric Porsche Taycan. Entering via a private entrance through a mechanic’s garage, they enjoy a complimentary Dewar’s Kykeon cocktail and access to a VIP table where they can watch cabaret acts in The Burnt City’s very own bar, The Horse. When guests are ready to leave, their chauffeur will deliver them home.
