Showroom: 911 GT3

For the first time, the new 911 GT3 makes its debut in two versions at the same time – as a sports car with an affinity for the racetrack with rear wing and as a more understated variant with Touring package. 

   

Two Powerhouses

Anniversary: Launched in 1999, the 911 GT3 has racing in its genes, yet it’s suitable for everyday use. For its 25th anniversary, the new model comes in two variants for the first time ever: the track-oriented sports car with rear wing and the more subtle variant with Touring package. Tailored packages enable further customization of the GT3 derivatives.

Stylishly Aerodynamic

Equipment: This street-legal sports car, which can also hold its own on the track, made its debut in a special anniversary year with an expanded lightweight strategy, a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter boxer engine with 375 kW (510 PS; 911 GT3: Fuel consumption* combined (WLTP) 13.8 – 13.7 l/100 km, CO₂ emissions* combined (WLTP) 312 – 310 g/km, CO₂ class G , CO₂ class weighted combined G ; 911 GT3 with Touring Package: Fuel consumption* combined (WLTP) 13.8 – 13.7 l/100 km, CO₂ emissions* combined (WLTP) 312 – 310 g/km, CO₂ class G , CO₂ class weighted combined G ) and 450 Nm of torque, and new options developed with the customer in mind. Both 911 GT3 models feature a streamlined design at the front and rear as well as optimized aerodynamics.

Versatile Sprinter

Power: Both the seven-speed dual clutch transmission (PDK) and six-speed GT manual transmission feature an axle ratio that’s eight percent shorter than that of the predecessor. The two transmission options are available for both derivatives. With PDK, the 911 accelerates to 100 kmh in 3.4 seconds and achieves a top track speed of 311 kmh (manual transmission: 3.9 seconds; 313 kmh).

Individual Performance

Motorsport genes: With the Weissach package available as an option for the first time, the 911 GT3 with fixed rear wing can be further customized and configured for optimum performance. Many carbon fiber elements contribute to the lightweight design. In conjunction with the package, lightweight forged magnesium wheels can be ordered as an option.

Touring Package

Model diversity: For the first time ever, the popular Touring package is available for the 911 GT3 as of market launch. The derivative forgoes the fixed wing, thus preserving the timeless, elegant contours of the 911. The 911 GT3 with Touring package boasts a retractable rear spoilerwith Gurney flap and an adapted fin design on the underbody for aerodynamic balance.

Driving Fun for Four

Tailored: For the first time ever, the GT3 with Touring package features an optional rear seat system and, for both derivatives, a folding lightweight sport bucket seat, which is fitted with an integrated thorax airbag and electric height and manual fore-and-aft adjustment. A portion of the headrest padding can be removed to accommodate a driver wearing a helmet for optimized ergonomics.

Smooth on the Road

Optimized tuning: The new 911 GT3 offers optimized damper tuning, which helps to keep the vehicle steady and smooth when driving over bumps. The anti-dive system noticeably reduces pitching under braking, thus keeping the sports car well balanced in different driving situations.

Ultra Lightweight

Touring upgrade: The new 911 GT3 with Touring package is distinguished by a subtle adaptive rear spoiler instead of the fixed rear wing. The Lightweight package offers yet another option for expansion, with the roof, the anti-roll bar, the stabilizer links, and the shear panel at the rear axle all made from carbon fiber. Lightweight forged magnesium wheels and lightweight door panels round off the package.
