Porsche Moments

Record on the racetrack: the new Taycan Turbo GT is the fastest electric production car at the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in California.

The stopwatch says 1:27.87 minutes: a record for the new Porsche Taycan Turbo GT with the Weissach Package. It is now the fastest electric series production car on the famous Californian racetrack. Porsche development driver Lars Kern finished the 3.6-kilometer undulating circuit in the fastest time. It was he, too, who had already completed the Nordschleife circuit of the Nürburgring in just 7:07.55 minutes in a preproduction version of this model. No less than two accolades for the most powerful series production Porsche there has ever been – and all before its market launch.
