Dreams Realised: The New Destination Porsche Center Sofia
Porsche customers and enthusiasts have a new home in the city. Porsche Bulgaria has officially opened its most ambitious project yet: the Destination Porsche Center in Sofia.
Spanning almost 8,000 square metres and spread over three floors, it is the largest Porsche Center in central and eastern Europe. It has more than enough room to display some of Porsche’s most iconic models, from the latest innovations like the Taycan and all-electric Macan to cherished classics that have shaped Porsche’s legacy. Sofia’s status as a Porsche Classic Partner – only the third in the region – ensures that these legendary vehicles receive the care and attention they deserve, honouring their stories while preparing them for the road ahead.

Destination for Every Enthusiast with a Community at its Heart
For Porsche fans in Sofia and beyond, the Center is more than a place to admire cars. It’s a place to engage with the brand and its community. Porsche has always been about more than cars; it’s about the people who love them. The new Center creates a space where Porsche enthusiasts can come together, share their passion, and celebrate milestones – from the unveiling of a new model to gatherings that bring generations of fans under one roof. It is a destination for dreamers, and judging by the enthusiastic turnout at the opening, there is no shortage of Porsche dreamers in Bulgaria.
Porsche Club Bulgaria: Meet & Greet
For the Porsche Club Bulgaria, opening day began early with an exclusive Meet & Greet session with Mark Webber, Porsche’s longstanding brand ambassador and racing legend. He came to Sofia especially for the festivities and added a personal touch that was highly appreciated. Members of the Porsche Club were treated to a private meeting and a lively Q&A session with Mark himself, who took the time to share stories about his career and his passion for the Porsche brand.

Seeking inspiration for his dream 911.A Multisensory Opening Celebration
The grand opening in the evening welcomed 600 guests, including Porsche colleagues from the regional and global head offices in Prague and Stuttgart, and the German ambassador to Bulgaria. Staying true to the idea of community and connection, the event was set up as an immersive journey that appealed to all the senses. The “Dreamer’s Bar” served bespoke Porsche-inspired cocktails, while culinary delights, not only delicious but also visually stunning, were presented with a touch of Porsche flair – think chocolates that illuminated under UV light, a playful nod to the paint-drying process at the Center’s state-of-the-art Body and Paint workshop. Leather-embossing machines highlighted Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur’s offerings and gave guests the chance to create their own personalised souvenirs of the evening.
Imagination Unleashed
The entire building was opened to attendees, offering rare glimpses into areas typically off-limits. The main workspace area showcased a captivating ten-minute cinematic 360-degree film that brought Porsche’s history to life, weaving the brand’s legacy into an unforgettable narrative about dreams, community, and innovation. In the “Powerhouse,” where engines are born, guests were immersed in the world of high performance, while the Body and Paint workshop was transformed into a vibrant “Playroom,” featuring two thrilling racing simulators and hands-on activities that celebrated Porsche’s performance heritage.
To further ignite the imagination, Mark Webber was invited to create his dream 911. And recognising that dreams are personal and unique, guests could share their own aspirations and well wishes through an innovative AI tool that transformed their words into videos, which were projected on the walls and on the vehicle.
A Journey Through Time
However, the centerpiece of the event was undoubtedly the “Time Machine” exhibition, which transformed the Pre-Owned area into a captivating “Porsche museum,” displaying no less than 50 iconic Porsche models, from the groundbreaking 918 Spyder to the legendary 356. A meticulously crafted replica of the original first Porsche factory in Gmünd, built by Porsche Bulgaria specifically for this occasion, added a touch of historical authenticity.
This “Time Machine” exhibition was a crowd favourite during the opening event but will remain at the Center in Sofia for an additional six months. Due to overwhelming interest from all over the country, Porsche Bulgaria now offers weekly tours for registered guests to delight fans further.
Where Dreams Meet Reality
The Destination Porsche Center Sofia represents much more than a physical structure. It’s a space where dreams take shape, a place that connects the brand’s storied past with its exciting future. Whether you’re a loyal customer, a member of the Porsche Club Bulgaria, or a newcomer captivated by the iconic crest, this new center invites everyone to become part of the Porsche family. As Porsche reminds us, it’s not just about what you buy; it’s about what you buy into – a lifestyle, a community, and a legacy of dreams made real.
