Accelerating awareness

Porsche Cars Great Britain – Community outreach: Porsche Cars GB has joined the drive to improve children’s mental health with its support for Place2Be, a charity working with more than 700 schools across the UK

Porsche Cars GB is joining forces with Place2Be, the leading provider of in-school mental health services in the UK, to help support the charity’s mission to improve the mental wellbeing and prospects of children, their families and communities in the UK.

Drawing on 25 years’ experience of working with pupils, families and staff, Place2Be provides mental health support via one-to-one and group counselling, using tried-and-tested methods backed by research. To mark the beginning of what will be a long-term partnership, Porsche Cars GB has donated £50,000 to Place2Be.

‘We are proud to support an organisation that is doing good work in the education sector and wider youth community,’ says Marcus Eckermann, Managing Director, Porsche Cars GB. ‘This valuable contribution fits perfectly with the worldwide Porsche commitment to sustainability, which not only covers economic factors and environmental considerations but also, and especially, social responsibility.’
