With open space a scarce commodity at the main production plant in Zuffenhausen, the new Taycan production facility was built upwards. Production of the first all-electric Porsche model is done on floors one and two, while quality inspection is conducted on the ground floor. From there, the cars are transported by means of a conveyor bridge to a new loading terminal—and thus set on their way to customers. A new benchmark in automotive production: from the Mission E concept car to the finished product in just four years.

The zero-emission Taycan is also manufactured CO₂ neutrally in Zuffenhausen. This is achieved using green energy, biogas, and energy-efficient production buildings. The new plant at the headquarters in Zuffenhausen is the very prototype of a Zero Impact Factory.スマート､ リーン､ グリーン｡
ポルシェ・ プロダクション 4.0
その所々にツッフェンハウゼン本社工場の伝統を感じることができる。晴天の中、国際モー ターショーの開催と同時に執り行われたニュータイカン生産工場の竣工式はまさに輝かしい未来を象徴しているかのようだ。ゼロ・インパクトという理念を打ち出したポルシェ・プロダクション 4.0 は、環境に悪影響を及ぼさない次世代の生産形態であると同時に、ブランドの環境に対する取り組みを明確化している。そんな中、ついに完成した新しい生産ライン。ポルシェはコンセプトスタディ、ミッション E の構想からブランド初フル電動スポーツの市販モデル完成までを極めて短い期間の中で成し遂げたのである。CO₂ ニュートラルで稼働する生産工場をはじめ、人間工学およびデジタル化に基づいた新たなラインコンセプトは現場で働く従業員に高品質の労働環境 を提供していると言えよう。ポルシェ 911 や 718 が組み立てられている既存の工場内部に増築されたタイカンの生産工場だが、もちろんツッフェンハウゼンに住む近隣住民との連携も密に行われている。多種多様な要件が立ちはだかる中、新プラントが予定通りに完成したことはまさにレースにおけるポール・トゥ・ウィンを連想させる。生産ラインや工場が持続的な環境性能を発揮する一方、ニューモデルが提供する労働環境にも注目して頂きたい。それは従業員がオートメーション化やデジタル化の恩恵を受けながら理想的な勤務形態を享受しているということだ。さらにプロジェクトによって生まれた新たな雇用も忘れてはならない。以上をトータルで考えた場合、新型が様々な点でただの優れた製品以上の意味を持つことがお分かり頂けるだろう。タイカンは従業員および環境に対する責任を負い、ポルシェをさらに魅力的なブランドへと導いてくれるのである。

The goal is to assemble a team with as many different talents and areas of expertise as possible.
